For the program “Orient – Occident has” Jordi Savall assured himself of the collaboration of numerous artists of the Arab-Islamic culture, who look at their cultural traditions with as much clairvoyance as Savall himself looks at his own. In this way, a dialogue is created between the instrumental music of ancient Christian, Muslim and Jewish Spain and medieval Italy and the music of Morocco, Israel, Persia, Afghanistan and the old Ottoman Empire.
