Josquin des Prés: Missa mater Patris & Noel Bauldeweyn: Missa Da pacem

This time the project of the complete recording of the Desprez trade fairs is taking place in “contested” territory. One of the greatest works, the Missa Mater Patris, is so unusual that some musicologists doubt Josquin’s authorship. The same applies to the Missa Da Pacem, which was considered a prime example of his championship – until it recently proved to be the work of Noel Bauldeweyn.
