The two new additions to the series are also worthy of note: “Clubhouse” by saxophone legend Dexter Gordon was recorded back in 1965, but didn’t come out until 1979. As a deluxe LP, the album now really comes into its own. The groovy 1961 album “Face To Face” was the Blue Note debut of Hammond organist Baby Face Willette.
