Founders Trio Katerina Chatzinikolau (Violin), Roger Morelló Ros (Cello) & Tobias Haunhorst (Piano) John D. Gottsch was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1950 and shortly afterwards his family moved to Florida. He spent his youth in Florida’s lake country, swimming with alligators. He traveled many of the state’s rivers that began in the backcountry and eventually flowed into the Atlantic Ocean. These explorations of Florida gave him a lasting love for the beauty and wildlife of the state. Gottsch spends his time between Baltimore and Key West. His compositions reflect his deep appreciation for nature. |
