Both are intimate, inward-looking, transparent and precise, and despite the delicacy and brevity of the earlier work, they differ only in appearance, not in content and certainly not in feeling. Though their means of presentation are different, they illuminate key themes of Feldman’s music: commitment, integrity, and wonderment that transforms fear into discovery and feeling into art.” Art Lange |
