Harold Land’s hard bop album “The Fox” was originally released in 1960 and reissued by Contemporary Records in 1969. With the line-up Harold Land (tenor saxophone), Dupree Bolton (trumpet), Elmo Hope (piano), Herbie Lewis (bass), Frank Butler (drums), it was produced by David Axelrod.

This reissue, released as part of the Acoustic Sounds Series, was mastered by Bernie Grundman from the original analog tapes and pressed on 180-gram vinyl by QRP and presented in a tip-on jacket.
