Reinhold Friedrich – The Trumpet Collection

Since his success at the ARD Competition in 1986, Reinhold Friedrich has been a guest on all the most important podiums throughout the world. Apart from his concert work, he is a professor of trumpet at the Academy of Music in Karlsruhe, an honorary professor at the Royal Academy of Music in London and a visiting professor at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus/Denmark. This 10 album set, which includes his recordings over the last 15 years, shows the impressive spectrum of this artist, playing a repertoire from the natural trumpet till the experimental avant-garde. This set is a chronology of trumpet literature spanning over 400 years of music history.
