Marthinesen: Monster Symphony, Panorama & The Confessional

Niels Marthinsen (b. 1963) knows how to grab the listener’s attention – and hold it. His evocative music is full of expressive force and makes instant contact with the listener. Niels Marthinsen is one of the most virtuosic composers in Denmark, but is at the same time an artist with an open mind. Nothing is forbidden in his music, where drama, humour, subtlety and big bangs all get along famously together.
