“Today!” is Mississippi John Hurt’s third album, originally released in 1966. The album includes some of the first commercial recordings since his comeback after a 35-year career hiatus. In 2009, it was added to the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry. According to Rolling Stone, Hurt is “the rare Delta blues legend who ensnares you with grace, generosity and warmth.”
